Irish is an experienced, professional and committed Certified Equine Massage Therapist with a strong interest in providing improved performance, injury rehabilitation and maintaining the well-being of the horse. She is a graduate of Equinamity Edge Equine Rehab in both the massage therapy and chiropractic and joint play programs. Irish has also attended Dr. Kerry Ridgeway’s seminars on low heel/high heel syndrome, gastro-intestinal ulcers and saddle fitting. She is currently taking a course with Equinology focusing on equine anatomy and soon, cranial-sacral and myofascia releases. In November of 2010 Irish attended a new and exciting course offered by Animal Dynamics on Equine Electro Acupressure, which is successfully used to treat common muscular and skeletal problems of the horse.
Irish has always had a passion for animals, especially our equine friends. She has seen many positive effects of equine massage therapy and alternative methods over the years. She quotes…”My many equine partners have given me countless enjoyable years in the saddle. Now it is my turn to return the favor. This is why I do what I do and love it!"
*Please keep in mind that while massage therapy improves the overall health of the horse, it is NOT a substitution for veterinarian services. If your horse is exhibiting signs of serious health issues, contact your vet! I am willing to work with your vet to customize a wellness plan for your horse as massage will compliment any treatment plan.*
